How LEADERS Moving Started
Leaders was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1994 by two friends, a pickup truck and a handshake.
Back then, the operations center was a tiny apartment that doubled as our living space. The back of the truck doubled as a makeshift dressing room to prepare for meetings between moves. The days were long, but nothing beat the satisfaction of completing those first 500 moves ourselves.
And that satisfaction has never faded. Today, Leaders has grown to become one of the largest moving and storage companies in the Midwest, with five locations, 40 fully-staffed trucks, and a 37,000 square foot state-of-the-art storage facility.
